[There is a reason Buffy fears libraries.
She knows this, and this is why she always had Giles do all the reading, because he seems to know how to handle books, and be safe with the books, and make sure that she doesn't get sucked into alternate universes by said books.
She should have known to be careful in the Bete Noire Library, but she doesn't. She opens up what looks like a perfectly friendly book, and the next thing she knows, she's no longer in the library. She's standing in the middle of an unfamiliar street. A street that looks like something out of an old TV sitcom as oppose to the City of Sin, and is very, VERY confused.]
